
Loretta Dittrich
Global Manufacturing Engineering Logistics Manager JLR

Lorette Dittrich began her career in the automotive industry in 2008 when she helped Voith Turbo (a Tier-1 for commercial vehicles) to ramp up a greenfield plant. She started as a buyer and went on to assume responsibility for the purchasing department and later for the logistics department. She also took over the operations excellence lead role for the site where she successfully implemented lean principles and laid the foundation for a strong lean knowledge and application throughout her career.
In 2021, Loretta joined Eberspaecher Technology GmbH (a Tier-1 suppler and exhaust system manufacturer) as a project manager for logistics and successfully implemented a lean logistics and supply chain system at a Greenfield site. After having been promoted to Head of Supply Chain Management, she launched and ramped up a plant whilst building strong teams and leading global transformation projects in end-to-end supply chain.
She joined JLR in 2019 and prior to her current role, was Head of Logistics for a greenfield production plant for PHEV and BEV batteries, where she designed and implemented a fully automated logistics system whilst launching and ramping up the production of PHEV batteries at UK’s first OEM battery assembly facility.
Since 2023, Loretta Dittrich has been Logistics Director within Global Manufacturing Engineering at JLR, where she is responsible for creating and implementing JLR’s Logistics Strategy and Roadmap globally, defining logistics standards as well as designing and implementing logistics solutions for new vehicle programmes. Her team recently launched a fully automated Logistics Operations Centre for which they were awarded the UK Supply Chain Excellence Award in 2024.
