Jose Arreche ist diplomierter Ingenieur und seit Oktober 2022 Werksleiter der SEAT S.A. in Martorell und Barcelona. Er ist spezialisiert auf die Anwendung von Industrie 4.0-Technologien und Experte im Produktionsmanagement.
Der Spanier begann seine Karriere im Volkswagen Konzern bei Volkswagen Navarra in 1997, wo er verschiedene Positionen innehatte, bis er 2018 zum Planungsdirektor ernannt wurde. Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat Arreche zahlreiche Projekte für den Volkswagen Konzern geleitet: 3 Jahre lang war er in Wolfsburg für die Umsetzung von Karosserieprojekten in den Volkswagenwerken in China verantwortlich.
In seiner Rolle als Werksleiter arbeitet Arreche eng mit Markus Haupt, dem Vorstand für Produktion und Logistik der SEAT S.A. zusammen, um den erfolgreichen Start der Small-BEV-Familie ab 2025 sicherzustellen und gleichzeitig die Produktion von Fahrzeugen mit anderen Antriebsarten voranzutreiben. Zudem treibt Jose die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Fabriken der VW-Gruppe auf der iberischen Halbinsel voran.
Jose Arreche is a graduate engineer and the Director of the SEAT S.A. plant in Martorell and Barcelona. He specializes in the application of Industry 4.0 technologies and is an expert in production management.
The engineer began his career at Volkswagen Navarra in 1997, where he held different positions until being appointed Planning Director in 2018. Throughout his career, Arreche has led various projects for the Volkswagen Group: he spent 3 years in Wolfsburg managing the implementation of car body projects in the Volkswagen factories in China.
In his role as plant Director Arreche is working closely with Markus Haupt, SEAT S.A.'s Executive Vice President for Production and Logistics, to ensure the successful launch of the small BEV family from 2025, while also driving forward the production of vehicles with other drive types. He also ensures the collaboration among the Group's factories in the Iberian Peninsula.
